Songlist (26th Feb 2019)

12 songs for the last jam was just about right, so we’ll stick to that number going forwards. Not many changes to the songlist this week, we’ve just swapped The Tide is High for Creep and changed the order. No changes to the songbook, so it’s still v1.8.

Third time’s a charm! (19th February 2019)

For our third jam, we were back in the common room at The Sip Club. We were greeted to a fantastic turnout, with many familiar faces and quite a few new ones. There was even a bit of an audience at one point and I was told the music went down very well at the cheese quiz in the room next door!

Songlist (19th Feb 2019)

Well, we definitely had too many songs in the songlist for our last jam, enough for both sessions! So for the next jam, we’ve cut the list down to a more manageable 12. To go with this, there’s a new version of the songbook.

Stretford Uke’s second jam! (12th February 2019)

Songlist (12th Feb 2019)

Now we’ve had our first jam and we’ve got a better idea of everyone’s abilities, we’re going to try arranging upcoming jams into two sessions, with a break to restock drinks and have a chat in the middle.

Stretford Uke’s first jam! (5th February 2019)

Well, after a few weeks of planning, songbook writing and a bit of practicing, 5th February 2019 saw the first ever Stretford Uke jam. It was a fantastic turnout, with people of all levels of experience and ability coming along.

One week to go!!

Just one week to go now till our first ukulele jam, on Tue 5th Feb!! We’re just working out final plans and have made a couple of small changes to the songbook.

As the songbook is quite large, We’ve put together a list of songs for our first ukulele jam on 5th Feb. This is more so there’s a shorter list to practice, rather than it being a fixed list for the evening. You can download a PDF of the songlist too.
